Default fixing door

Here I go, first post and I am a complete DIY amateur...Our house is about 20 years old. recently a cupboard door became loose. When I had a look, the screw hole in the bracket attached to the wall was faulty. No problem, buy a new hinge and bracket, simply replace the existing one. I am guessing this cupboard is as old as the house.

Now, my problem, I can unscrew the hinge from the door. But, the plastic bracket attached to the wall is superglued into place. Nothing will shift it, I tried to ease it out by placing a screwdriver underneath and I tried to cut it out with a razor blade. But nothing will shift it.

As this item is glued to the wall I don't want to get too aggressive and rip bits of wall out. Any suggestions?
