Default Any good ideas for decorating a large office building on a tight budget?...

...I am looking for both interior and? exterior decorations. The outside building is white and the inside is neutral beige walls with natural colored hardwood floors and the company is in South Florida. It is a free standing building and pretty nice, but needs to be spruced up without spending a lot of money. Thank you!

Get someone who can draw & paint to do murals on outside & inside walls. Perhaps of something that represents your company, or nature - trees, bushes, grass; or something nautical. It's your world!

Landscaping can be done on a tight budget to brighten up the exterior. Choose plants that can handle the drought conditions we have been experiencing, for example Crape Myrtle trees.

For the interior choose some area rugs and artwork. It sound like your neutral pallet needs a splash of color!

Since your are in South Florida you may want to visit Downtown Fort Pierce. We, here at Sunrise City Carpets, have a great selection of area rugs and there are several galleries where you can find artwork for your walls at very reasonable prices.

Take US #1 to Orange Avenue heading East or take Indian River Drive right into Downtown Fort Pierce, we are on Second Street.

Go to an upscale resale shop near you, I know there's one in St. Simons Island, GA, they have some upscale furnishings that would fit your criteria. -- I'm stating this, as other parts of Florida have Upscale Resale or different names, but exist.
A good Queen Anne set of Chairs in a Floral or Palm Leaf print would be pretty with an offwhite contemporary sofa or loveseat with pillows in the fabric of chairs. Cherry or Mahogany accent pieces and best of all, silk plants, palm, or ficus with lights would add color and warmth. Outside, I would paint the door gloss black or another rich color to match the roof to "enhance the architecture". Add color with mandevilla or hibiscus, . Have a jasmine vine along a wall, and all each corner have a arborvitae or a red bougeilvillia(sp?) sorry about spelling. Then have low plants at border,
I use impatience in whites, reds, or fuchia. Makes a pretty border. For artwork, you can make your own photos of nature, flowers, animals, gardens, have them blown up and framed -- very inexpensive. I've seen a doctor's hospital with photos a doctor had taken and the hospital had them blown up and framed and hang throughout the office and hospital.
