art classes, some Graphic arts to learn to use your computer for projects. In college, your advisor will tell you the classes. Depending on how good you are and if you're hired by a copmany or create your own, your income will depend

in high school i took all the sewing classes, the family and hom development classes, algebra, and geometry. we also had a class specifically called interior design. you need your math classes for measurements and plus geometry is good for when you are laying out furniture and hanging wall decor. that way you get the basic shape of how you want your room and all the measurements to make it look right. im not sure how much they make. im sure its pretty good. depends on where you are a designer. i wanted to be one when i was in high school. took all the perfect classes, i just never persued. good luck though and best wishes!

Where will you go for school after high school graduation? If you will be attending a college then you need to take college prep courses. Art classes are good electives to take.

It all depends if you want to become an Interior Decorator or an Interior Designer. Here is an article that will help you decide:

For the rest of your information that you are looking for as far as education and all that, you should check out this article:

I work in interior decorating and home staging. I make very good money. Good enough to raise 3 children, have them attend private school, take horseback riding lessons and compete in the sport and I live a decent life. Put it this way, I was in criminal and family law until 2003... I'm making more money now with decorating than I did in law! And I don't have to smile and shake any more criminals' hands!
