My best friend and I are getting ready to move into our first apartment. I opted for the bathroom that guests would be using since my roommate isn't as neat. I've just begun buying, and I realized that I want to decorate the bathroom to look really nice. The walls are white, and we can't paint. That's why I was wondering what type of accessories will look classy in a bathroom? I want it to look interesting without the clutter. Thus far, I've only got towels and a shower curtain (all navy blue). I've never done this before.. can someone help?

They make stick-on borders that peel off now, you may want to look into that. Believe it or not, walmart has a good selection. With navy blue, you could add some red easily.

You could also use silver toothbrush holder, soap dish, etc. provided that the other fixtures like the faucet are silver. Navy, silver and white would look great!!

You have so many options. Head to a local store that carries bathroom deco and open for possibilities.

We also live in an apartment where we can't paint. I would put rugs on the floor, towels, some pictures (preferrably in glass because of moisture problems)....I have several candles sitting in stones (check out Michael's or A.C. Moore craft stores).
It really depends on your style....you could go with framed postcards of your travels to make the guest bathroom more interesting.
You could do prints of famous art.
You could do a "theme" bathroom with a color or some objects like seashells or frogs.
You could do country cottage with readymade vintage--looking signs.
You could do some funny art like cartoons framed in plexiglass.
The list is endless.

You can get a set of rugs in red, which will look good with the Navy blue, Rug set includes Toilet seat cover,Area Rug, And a contour rug that goes around the bottom of the toilet. You Can also get a red of blue plastic shower curtain. If you have a tank you can get a plastic tray, and display some cool perfume bottles, or Candles. It all depends on what color you choose, you can get a curtain for the window the same color as you shower curtain. They also sell small cabinets to store your Toilet paper, They are as wide as your Toilet paper. Get Navy Blue Waste basket, Glass, Toothbrush holder, and Soap dish. If money is a problem, check out the dollar stores, you can pick up some good things there.

Rug on the floor to coordinate w/ shower curtain...candles...keep it simple..it will look cleaner...
