Default I want to decorate my living room in NFL theme.?

I just moved and have no living room, no couch, no love seat, no pictures on the wall... Is there a website that tells you how to design a living room for really really cheap? I was hoping to go for a football theme.

Awesome room IDEA!!!

You can decorate your room very cheap. This is as cheap as it gets.

Find some old skid lumber. (This is what facories use to transport large cargo from one location to another.)
Tear these skids apart and pull all the nails out of them.
Use the lumber from these to make all your furniture pieces.

For the couch... find an old babybed mattress that someone will sell you cheaply. This is going to be your living room seating area. You can do two or three of these to make a cool seating area.
Make a frame for this 'seat' out of the skid lumber.... put the mattress on top........ drape colored fabric (or some solid colored comforters) ... over the whole thing..... then go around the whole thing with some colored rope and tie it in the back. Add your NFL pillows from your favorite teams.
You can make two or three of these unique 'couches' to make a cool seating area.

Go to flea markets and yardsales. Find the furniture that is in the worst shape... that you can bring back to life with a bit of paint. This will be some matching end tables for you. Just buy one bucket of paint to paint all the 'found' furniture the same color.
Also, go to the hardware store and buy all matching pull knobs for the front of this furniture to make it look as if it were meant to be in the same room together. This is a great trick when on a budget. If you look really hard, I bet you can find little footballs.

For the coffee table...
Find three of those orange round tall coolers used for water on the sidelines at the football games. Tie them together with the same rope you used for the couches. (Just some jute twine will work great.)
Put all of the coolers in a row.
On top of the coolers put two layers of plexiglass that are cut to the exact same size.
Between the plexi glass, on the first layer, cover it with some green indoor/outdoor carpet (looks like grass), .... Use some white tape and white number stickers to make a football field on the 'grass'.
Cover the first layer of plexi glass with the second layer of plexi glass to make your cool new coffee table.

Get on the computer and find images of your favorite NFL players..... print the pictures and cut them out.
You need a picture of the players face.... and one of their jersey. Piece these together and cover with clear packing tape to make a 'paper puppet' that can have something slipped into the bottom of it.
Go to the hardware store and buy some heavy duty bolts that will stand up on their own without tipping over. Slip these into the bottom of the NFL 'paper puppets' to add a fun aspect to your football coffee table.
You should not see the bolt. Cover the bolt first in the team color of that particular player with fabric or paper. You can print the color off the computer as well. (This will be the pants of the 'player'.)

To display some football cards...
If you cant afford the expensive card holder things....
try this...
Use old empty CD cases. Open the empty CD case and then pop out the center thing that holds the CD.
You now have a display case.
You can either leave this clear... or add some cool NFL paper. (this predesigned paper is very cheap at craft stores. If you cannot find 'NFL' paper, just find a football themed paper.)
Then just hang them on the wall using wall putty.
This makes a cool 3-D effect.
The beauty of the CD case... is that you can open it and change out the cards.

For the curtains/window treatments... Find some NFL themed fabric. You could also tear up some old sheets to do this if you cannot find the fabric.... make a pocket at the top and finish the edges of the fabric to make a cool curtain.
You will need to do this to tie the room together and not lose your theme.

Hope this helps! Cool room idea, really!
