Default Interior Designing Help?

Ok my floors were just completed and they turned out great. They are red pine. My question is I like the butcher block countertops but will that be too much wood in the kitchen? Any suggestion on cabinet color and countertop color that will look best with the floors? The appliances are stainless. Thanks for the help.

Have you considered a soft yellow granite or regular countertop for color ?
I think it would be too much wood. With the stainless appliances, you don't want to make your kitchen "feel too cold".
That's the "affect" you'll get by going with more of the wood look.

What colors surround your kitchen?
I have changed over to yellow and reds. Just a hint of red though and it looks great in the kitchen.
I went with a "Bistro style kitchen" if that makes any sense?

As far as your cabinets, could you consider white? or off white to a beige color?
You could keep those wood, but watch your colors and let them welcome you into the room.

Enjoy and have fun

I don't think you can have too much wood. Also, "woods don't fight" which means you can mix them up.
