OK, so I have an average room -- its pretty big, I have a large window space of 3 window(that are large) across one wall. I also have tan wooden furniture and a day bed that is a cream color and the furniture has like pink blue green orange/peach flowers...what are some good colors (and dont say whatever color you like -- cuz i like ALL colors =))

oh yea and there are boarders around my window area and THREE doors(1 i dont use cuz it leads to my bros closet -- we live in an old house =)) should i just paint those a creamy color or....

Note: i will also be getting new bedding =)

And does anyone have any decorating tips? Thanks!

A sophisticated and elegant lavender or licac! It's both calming and pretty!!

Either blue or green would be pretty on the walls, and cream on the woodwork. Or you could use a slightly darker version of the peach on the walls. Be careful to use a somewhat softer version of whatever color you choose, because your room is large and you don't want the walls to be too overpowering.

u stated u had borders around u'r window area? Is it a wallpaper border? Can it b taken down or do u not want it down? Does it go w/ the color theme of u'r dresser? what kind of bedding will u b getting? solid or print or stripe or plaid.. any idea?

I think those colors r very nice in u'r dresser. So y not go off of them. Is there any one that u like more than the others? OR.. y not do u'r walls in 1 color of u'r dresser? In a light to med of that color? Or.. u could paint 2 opposite walls in green.. & the other 2 walls in peach then sorta in the middle or jst above the middle of the walls... jst a few stripes. U'll need blue tape & level & ruler to measure it from the floor or ceiling down. place u'r tape on the line of u'r pencil mark.. all around the room. Then follow the tape down... one tape after the other.. Do about 6- 7 tapes. Then take off every other tape starting w/ #2 tape. Then paint one stripe blue/then anthr pink/then anthr (opposite wall color)then either creme/orange or same color u jst painted. Do that all around the room. pull off tape slowly & u have jst simple stripes to match u'r dresser flowrs & if u'r creative.. take some of those paints & try to copy some of the colors of u'r flowers & paint them at the top of the stripe & going into the stripes.. jst here & there.. not too many.

Then use accents of those colors thru out u'r room.. Be creative! u can do it! have fun!
