Default decorating walls in new home?

I have a Disney Spice jar rack with its own display(burgandy in color) walls are green. do I put it in the kitchen(the only wall I have is by the bathroom-yes right off the kitchen) or put in dining room(mainly used for a computer space-not used for any other purpose: no one to come over for dinner) 3 walls to put on- 1st is between 2 windows facing our driveway; 2nd is: on opposite side of those windows has the thermostat on wall and the 3rd is one you see as soon as you come through front door.(but eventually- maybe 3 to 5 yrs opening that wall up since kitchen is other side., want to put a small bar space there) also: have an Elvis calendar plate display- where to put both of these things- doing this tonight(Friday- June 8th) thanks.
no family or friends visit at my new home- everyone busy with their lives. I have invited a few but all say they are too busy. so my daughter and I are the only ones seeing these.

I think the spice jar rack should go in the kitchen and the Elvis plate display in the dining room. If you want people to see the Elvis plate display then put it on the 3rd wall, the one you see as you come in through the front door. If you do eventually knock that wall out then you can move it to one of the other walls.

I was thinking that the Disney Spice Jar rack might look cool in the upcoming bar area. Families/Friends usually hang out in bar areas of homes, so it might make the area more "family friendly."

Until then, you could certainly put it where you see it when you first come in. Disney items usually bring people a sense of family and fun--warmth. It is also burgundy colored which is also a "warm" color that bring life to any area you decide. Although people may think "KITCHEN!" because it is a spice jar rack, it doesn't mean it has to go in the kitchen. People can put dried herb stalks in spice jars and lay the lids sitting next to the jars to bring more of a country feel to it as well.
