HOw do i switch the desk top from landscape to portrait?

1.control panel
2 type into the search box "tablet PC settings" and click the icon of the spy glass to search
3 when found...double left click on it
4orientation....select "primary landscape"

NOTE, this is in windows Vista

I have a flat screen computer and it can rotate on its side..how can i switch the view from landscape to protrait....before i had a program that did it but I forgot its name.
