Why did Jehovah plant the tree of knowledge and tree of Life in the garden of Eden if Man was not allowed to eat fruits from these trees? Or why did Jehovah put man in this garden if there were fruits that were forbidden?
It makes no sense. Only message from this genesis story is that man can have everything except knowledge and life. If Jehovah made man in his likeness then how come man is not allowed to have knowledge and life? Actually that what differentiates man from other creatures is his knowledge.
bibiloph. Adam Eve didnt have the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. How can they know if its to obey god to be good or to obey serpant is good? how can u blame someone who didnt even have the knowledge to see that they were naked. Adam and eve before having the fruit of knowledge were like infants. the god of bible shouldnt have tested infants. Or at least stop the serpant from coming there.

To allow Adam & Eve the choice whether or not they wanted to obey Him.
