H. Gailey was an English, 19th century, artist. There does not seem to be much info aroud on the web about Gailey, although there are many people offering Gailey's paintings for sale.There's a Thomas A. Smith, late 19 century. Known for landscapes."Smith exhibited 46 oil paintings in San Francisco in 1854 at D. L. Gunn's art store. They were done from sketches made by Thomas A. Ayres in 1849 and comprised a panorama of scenes extending from the Golden Gate to the summit of the Sierra Nevada.
