Default I have a mulberry tree in my yard and I want to plant more. someone said

to take a cutting of the tree I have? how do I make the cuttin have roots? when do I plant the cutting?

Hope this helps

1.For once your deep sand will be an advantage. Mulberries are very adaptable but they do like sand. You can plant cuttings into sand and prunings direct. Mulberry is an excellent fodder source for most animals.
2.I believe the only downfall of growing mulberry's from cuttings is that they are not as strongly rooted (they dont develop the long tap root)
