Default Whats a good strong smelling plant/tree that can be kept outdoors???

I have a large garden and its divided into 2. 1 half is for the family and the other is for my black lab and terrier. They are shitting machines, and no matter how well i clean their side by picking up the dirt, hosing it down and using dissinfectant , IT STINKS TERRIBLE. I would like to buy a few strong smelling trees or plants to drown out the smell. I heard "lavender" is good, Whats the best smelling outdoor tree or plant, maybe something i can plant or pot, doesnt matter.
p.s. something thats low maintenance and will live forever.
