Default I live in a very mild winter climate(Alabama Gulf Coast) and am wondering if

painting my house's exterior wood surface (RB&B) would be contraindicated if it took a good while to complete (weeks to a few months). I.e. Would mold occurrence be more likely, would colors dry to too many different shades, etc. ?? Thanks
