Default Should I move right now, move later or remodel my current house?

Ok I live in a 900 sq foot house 2/1. I have a 2 year old and a baby on the way. I have an armoir in my dining room because the rooms are so packed. I do not have room in my kitchen for a dishwasher. i have the best neighbors but there are NO sidewalks in my area and the schools are BAD.

The homes in my area are expensive, the only house I can afford is my sized house, so if I move I have to leave the area. My family and my husbands family is in this area.

My health insurance is throught the state so if I move out of state I would have to pay for prenatal dr visits and delivery out of pocket. however, I hate the dr and office that I have on my current insurnace and they are the ONLY ones that take my current insurance.

If I remodel, like expand the kitchen it is not going to increase the value of the house, but if we do an extension it will, but like I said this is not a great area for schools so I really dont want my kids to grow up in this area.
suggestions?
thanks
