My front entry way is a double door entry with glass panel doors. I'm interested in installing double storm security doors to make it harder to break into. Is that possible?
Yeah, I really mean more of a barred security door than a typical screen storm door. Alarm systems are worthless for smash and grab break ins.

you can special order twin storm doors ,,,but they will not help with security,,i suggest a good dog or hire smith and wesson to guard the place

You can do anything you want, its your home.Storm doors are for extreme weathered enviroments Not for added security. Someone can still get in if they know how to pick locks. The door might have to be specially ordered and thats very costly. Painting it or adding a peep hole might void the warranty from manufacture. Why not add double security doors? Or buy a double cylinder lock set. Is the area you live really unsafe, then invest in a home security system.

You can see the door guys at either Home Depot or Lowes and they will probably be able to show you something from Larson (a storm door manufacturer it may be Larsen) to meet your needs. Perhaps they have a website, check it out. They make the best storm doors and installation is usually possible for the average homeowner.
