Well we have a Maytag refrigerator, and before we made the purchase we checked everywhere. You will be surprised to know that refrigerators are basically made very cheaply I had to bring mine back two times to Home Depot. Since it was still under warranty, but my refrigerator from ten years ago had better parts. So it's a matter of preferance but my Maytag at the back seem to indent when the fridge was cold; the quality is not there unless you want to buy a $3,200.00 fridge from Sears, basically it's disappoint, even the call centre from Maytag, the lady laughed telling me they don't make Refrigerators, like they used to.

I'm really afraid when the warranty is finished, but my husband told me to buy the extended warrany, like it's going to matter they might find an excuse for more money.
Good Luck, just keep looking. Frididaire I think is under Maytag. I'm not sure. It seems that their fridge is made in Korea.

Had two Frigidaire's. Love them both.
One lasted 15yrs+, and the newer one we have is so far 10yrs and no problems here.
Would definitely buy another Frigidaire product.

Whirlpool and Ge are horrible.
Had many problems with customer care with both of those companies on different appliances.
Maytag is usually expensive, and has more bells and whistle to their products. To me, I don't need all that stuff.
I need something that will give me satisfaction for years to come, and just do what it is supposed to do. Clean, cook, refrig, whatever the case may be.
