Default Adding an Attic outlet in Amsterdam

Hello,

I have just moved to Amsterdam and want to add an outlet in my attic. Right now there is a line running into the attic, up the wall, and conected to a florescent light. All I want to do is install an outlet near the light.
I don't have a lot of electrical knowledge, I installed security alarms and low voltage equipment for a couple of years but I've never done any real electrical work. However, this seems pretty basic to me.
Could anyone familiar with european voltage and equipment let me know if there's anything i should look out for?
This line is on the same breaker as the master bedroom and bathroom, btw. Generally, when I'm up in the attic, I won't be running anything in the other two places.
Also, anyone know a good internet resource for European DIY?

Thanks, any suggestions appreciated,
John
