Default Is it an appropriate or acceptable practice to use floor tiles on a wall?

It's for the surround on a theraputic home tub. In advance, thank you for your time & consideration.

You certainly can in some cases, for example, each of these ranges of Bathroom Tiles is listed as suitable for floors or walls - I think it's worth checking with the supplier you're using, to see if they have any specific recommendations about the actual tiles you've got there.

But I'd say you're probably alright.
